Constant
The fanlisting's title 'Constant' comes from the episode The Constant, where at the end of the episode, after yet another time bending Desmond episode, Danial Faraday writes in his notebook
"If anything goes wrong, Desmond Hume will be my constant.". I just wanted a one worded, short snappy title, and Constant just seemed perfect. Brother, of course was considered, but come on... a bit predictable, isn't it? Plus, I guess Desmond has 'constantly' been there on the island whilst the Losties have been there, and his constant love for Peneolope during that time... I could go on XD
One Man's Fight with the Space-Time Continuum
I won't lie, I want this to be the fanlistings official name, as, if there's one thing I love about Desmond, are his completely mind-bending 'flashback' episodes. Everyone else's gives a glimpse of their lives before the island. Whereas Desmonds? He's on the island whilst he's off the island whilst he's in a whole different dimention. As much as they hurt my brain, his episodes are by far the best in my opinion (and many other peoples!)
